Experince of seri culture
Seri-Culture On the day of 14th june ,2019, our school provided an opportunity to the grade 10 students to visit a seri-culture farm located at khopasi,kavre. Everyone of us along with teachers gathered in the morning at school ground and departed to the sericulture farm at 10am. It was about 2 hours bus ride to reach the farm. During the ride, we enjoyed the views and beautiful sceneries of Kathmandu valley. After we reached in the farm, we were facilitated by a guide throughout our journey who provided us with a lot of information about the seri-culture farming in Nepal. We observed and learned about different stages of lifecycle of silkworm and its feeding process. We came to know about mulberry trees that it is the best food that can be fed to the silkworm for their proper life cycle. And also, the mulberry tree can only be cultivated during summer. In Khopasi, they have cultivated mulberry trees in 100 ropani land. In the context, we also observed the eggs of a silkworm an
