Rakshya Bandhan
Rakshya Bandhan is an annual festival which is celebrated by tying of a thread, bracelet or talisman around the wrist as a form of bond and ritual protection. Rakshya Bandhan is observed on the purnima of Shrawan. The word 'rakshyabandhan' means the bond of  protection, obligation and care.
On this day, sisters of all ages ties 'rakhi', a form of woven bracelet or amulet around the wrist of her brother and offer many sweets and foods to her brother. In return, brother provides gift to his sister. This occasion is celebrated all around the country, mostly by Hindu community.
This festival is the special festival to all the brothers and sisters as this day they celebrate their pure relationship and unconditional love.

Father's day

Father's Day  is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.  The officially recognized date of Father's Day varies from country to country.  In Nepal, it is usually celebrated in between 30th August to 30th September.  The Newar population (natives of Kathmandu valley) in Nepal honors fathers on the day of Gokarna Ausi , which occurs in late August or early September, depending on the year, since it depends on the lunar calendar. Aadhi ko Manorama Nitra

Drama Experience On the day of 9 th May, 2019, our school took students of class 8, 9 and 10 to watch a drama named Aadhi ko Manorama Nitra . The drama was organized at Battisputali, Kathmandu. Each student had to pay Rs.150 as an entry fee. The drama started at 1 pm sharp. Along with our school, another school was also there as an audience. With the close interaction with the director who organized drama, we found him very humble and kind to all the students of both schools. Before watching drama, we were made aware about some rules that should be followed during watching drama.  The drama was about school students and their life.
