My Dashain Experience



This year’s Dashain, I had an opportunity to experience a lot about different things. In the beginning, I got an experience on making thread sharp for flying kite. We used the mixture of sawadana, tiny glass dusts and color. And, the thread which was successfully sharpened. Also, I visited beautiful places and ate delicious food on this auspicious occasion. I played cards and flew kites and that was a fun-filled moment for me. I also visited my relatives to put tika.

Father's day

Father's Day  is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.  The officially recognized date of Father's Day varies from country to country.  In Nepal, it is usually celebrated in between 30th August to 30th September.  The Newar population (natives of Kathmandu valley) in Nepal honors fathers on the day of Gokarna Ausi , which occurs in late August or early September, depending on the year, since it depends on the lunar calendar.
