My Tihar Experience



This year’s Tihar was the most memorable one. Like every year, I thought I would celebrate in the same way as before. Since, my birthday falls on the day of Kukur tihar, I was unknown about the fact that my family was planning a birthday surprise for me. This surprise totally had me on tears. So, this was a complete new experience to me. Likewise, during Laxmi puja, I helped my sister to make Rangoli. We decorated our house with flickering lights and diyo all around. At night, we ate delicious food along with selroti. In the bhai tika day, we had a lot of fun. We took a lot of pictures that day.

Father's day

Father's Day  is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.  The officially recognized date of Father's Day varies from country to country.  In Nepal, it is usually celebrated in between 30th August to 30th September.  The Newar population (natives of Kathmandu valley) in Nepal honors fathers on the day of Gokarna Ausi , which occurs in late August or early September, depending on the year, since it depends on the lunar calendar. Aadhi ko Manorama Nitra

Drama Experience On the day of 9 th May, 2019, our school took students of class 8, 9 and 10 to watch a drama named Aadhi ko Manorama Nitra . The drama was organized at Battisputali, Kathmandu. Each student had to pay Rs.150 as an entry fee. The drama started at 1 pm sharp. Along with our school, another school was also there as an audience. With the close interaction with the director who organized drama, we found him very humble and kind to all the students of both schools. Before watching drama, we were made aware about some rules that should be followed during watching drama.  The drama was about school students and their life. On the drama, they portrayed the phases in teenage period and the situations faced by a teenager during his/her adolescences.
