Aadhi ko Manorama Nitra
Drama Experience
On the day of 9th May, 2019, our school took students of
class 8, 9 and 10 to watch a drama named Aadhi
ko Manorama Nitra. The drama was organized at Battisputali, Kathmandu. Each
student had to pay Rs.150 as an entry fee. The drama started at 1 pm sharp. Along
with our school, another school was also there as an audience. With the close
interaction with the director who organized drama, we found him very humble and
kind to all the students of both schools. Before watching drama, we were made
aware about some rules that should be followed during watching drama.
The drama was about school students and their life. On the drama,
they portrayed the phases in teenage period and the situations faced by a
teenager during his/her adolescences. Also, they showed us that both genders
are equal and should not be discriminated. An example of a girl was taken in
which, the girl was a school student. She fell in love with a guy in her class.
Later, she became pregnant. Also, she was misbehaved by her father’s friends
when they visited her house. She was clueless with the things going around of
her. She could not do anything but to tell her mother about everything. Her
mother went in shock after listening to her. Another example was taken of a
group of boys where peer pressure was the main topic. Due to the bad peer group
and peer pressure, an innocent boy gets addiction of smoking and other bad
addiction.
So, the drama was very informative and had the lesson to teach. The
demonstrations of peer pressure, immature decisions, harassments and addictions
were done to the teenage level which was best suited to make us more aware
about the situations that a teenager like us may face. This taught us how to
tackle those problems and react when in those situations. Hence, the drama was
really effective.
